- 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- pinch of salt
Instructions
- Place the sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, and butter, in a heavy bottom saucepan over medium heat. Stir the mixture constantly, cooking it until the chocolate and butter are fully melted and the mixture is smooth and thick.
- Remove from the heat and add the heavy cream, vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. Stir to combine.
- Pour the hot fudge into an airtight jar or container and store in the fridge for up to 1 month!
Notes
- This is a homemade hot fudge recipe. If you want a hot fudge sauce, you can thin out the sauce by adding in a tablespoon of heavy cream until you reach your desired consistency!
