for the macarons

  • 100g egg whites
  • 100g granulated sugar
  • 100g almond flour
  • 100g powdered sugar
  • few drops red food coloring
  • 1 teaspoon rosewater (I got mine at a Turkish food store)
  • 1/4 cup white chocolate, for topping
  • 2 tablespoons dried rose petals, for topping

for the center bit

  • 1/4 cup butter, room temperature
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup Bonne Maman Raspberry Preserves
  • 1/2 teaspoon rosewater
