For the apple pie bits

  • 2 large (3 medium) apples
  • 2 tablespoons light (or medium) brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup Berentzen's Bushel &; Barrel bourbon
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/8 nutmeg
  • 1/8 cloves
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

For the oatmeal cookies

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, room temp
  • 1 egg white
  • 1/2 cup light (or medium) brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup oatmeal
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

For the ice cream base

  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 5 egg yolks
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup light or medium brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup Berentzen's Bushel &; Barrel bourbon
